Question: Who Is Jesus In Islam?
Answered by Admin on 2025-04-12
As far as Allah is concerned, the example of Jesus [I'sa (Peace be upon him)] is just like the example of Adam [pbuh] in terms of his birth. Allah said 'Be' in both cases & they were created by His command without any father. But I'sa [pbuh] was created inside the womb of Maryam [pbuh] so he had a mother BUT NO FATHER. He was raised from Earth by the will of Allah & he will return again by the will of Allah during the end times & die a natural death.

— Surah Ali Imran 3:59

"She said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man has touched me." He said: "So (it will be) for Allah creates what He wills. When He has decreed something, He says to it only: "Be!" and it is."
— Sura Ali' Imran 3:47
Question: What is Islam in simple terms?
Answered by Lisa on 2026-09-08
Submission is the key. Islam means peaceful submission to God. It is the faith that there is one God, Allah, and that we live by the guidance He sent through His messengers, ending with Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
A Muslim accepts that with heart, speech, and action. You do not need to be born Muslim. Start with the Quran, learn prayer, and ask simple questions as they come.

"Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam"
— Surah Ali Imran 3:19
Question: Who is Allah in Islam?
Answered by Lisa on 2026-09-08
Allah is the Arabic word for God, the one Creator.
He was not born, He does not die, and nothing is like Him. The Most Gracious, The Most Wise, The All-knowing YET near to those who call Him.
Muslims are not naming a different tribal god. Arabic-speaking Christians and Jews have used "Allah" for God too. In Islam, worship goes to Allah alone, without partners or statues.
References & Verses
"Say (O Muhammad ﷺ): “He is Allah, (the) One. Allah-us-Samad [Allah, the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, (He neither eats nor drinks)]. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him.”"
— Surah Al Ikhlas 112:1-4
Question: What is the Quran and why do Muslims follow it?
Answered by Lisa on 2026-09-08
The Quran is the final message from Allah to mankind, revealed to the final Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) over about 23 years.
Muslims recite it in Arabic in prayer and try to live by it. The Qur'an is the way of life for a Muslim and the most trustworthy companion.
References & Verses
"We have not sent down the Quran unto you (O Muhammad SAW) to cause you distress. But only as a Reminder to those who fear (Allah). A revelation from Him (Allah) Who has created the earth and high heavens."
— Sura TaHa 20:2-4
Question: What is tafsir and why should I study it?
Answered by Lisa on 2026-09-08
Tafsir is the scholarly explanation of the Quran: language, context, related verses, and how trusted scholars explained a passage. Translation can feel clear and still leave you guessing.
Studying tafsir means learning from reliable explanations, not inventing your own private interpretation.
Several Tafsir is available in Taha Utopia Tafsir Library.
Question: How do I start reading the Quran if I do not know Arabic?
Answered by Lisa on 2026-09-08
May Peace be upon you.
Use a clear translation first while you slowly learn letters and short surahs. Pick Al-Fatihah or the last short surahs, listen while following the text, read a trusted translation (Al Muhsin Khan), add a little tafsir, and grow Arabic beside that habit. You do not need perfect Arabic before the Quran benefits you.
QAWE and Tafsir on Taha Utopia can be useful but feel free to explore other places as well.
Question: What are the Five Pillars of Islam?
Answered by Lisa on 2026-09-08
1) Shahada (faith testimony)
2) Salah (five daily prayers)
3) Zakat (required charity from qualifying wealth)
4) Sawm (Ramadan fasting, with real exemptions)

Question: What is hadith, and how is it different from the Quran?
Answered by Lisa on 2026-09-08
The Quran is revelation Muslims believe is Allah's word. Hadith are reports of what the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, did, or approved.
Authentic hadith show how to live the Quran in practice.
It is important to note that not every quote online is authentic. Prefer trusted collections and check references (e.g. sunnah.com) or original Hadith books (available in Taha Utopia Hadith Section).
Quran is the Book. Hadith preserves the Prophet's living example.
